Freeware MovieSaver 2.0: Load down Videos from Sevenload, Metacafe and MySpace!
Videos are the latest trend in Internet. More and more online portals collect funny, serious or crazy movies, which with a mouse click can be viewed directly in the browser. Unfortunately they are not destined for download – for the big offline video show. This is where the MovieSaver 2.0 freeware comes into play. It saves the online videos directly on the hard disk – without ballyhoo.
Today, a good DSL-connection is almost compulsory in Internet in order to visit all the new web sites, which promise pure fun. Numerous video portals collect all kinds of movies, among them not just funny and hip ones but also serious ones of artistic merit. Many thousand movies are already available on the net.
All the well-known portals like Youtube, Google Video, Clipfish, MyVideo, VideoTube, ifilm, blip.tv and dailymotion have one thing in common: watching is allowed, but that’s it. Tim Stoepler: "The download-button is definitely missing. It would enable visitors to watch the movies offline. But obviously this is not desired. Our freeware MovieSaver 2.0 closes the gap and makes the download of movies a mere child’s play. Every user can compose his own video collection."
Now also for Sevenload, Metacafe and MySpace portals
MovieSaver supports the mentioned online portals and in the new 1.1 version can also handle Sevenload, Metacafe and MySpace. For every single portal it suffices to feed the tool with the URL of a video to start the download. Download cannot be less complicated! When loading the film the program window shows the progress by means of a bar – the freeware does not consider any additional functions.
Yet, backstage all eventualities are taken into account. Even if the user has not installed a flash player and the browser cannot show the online videos, MovieSaver loads them down. Even better: the video download has an own media filter, which directly clicks in the Windows-system. This allows to play back the flash videos with any software player that supports the Microsoft DirectShow-interface. This can also be the Windows Media Player.
Tim Stoepler of Engelmann Media GmbH: "We also recommend to use the programs Mobile Video or freeTunes 2.0, to transfer the movies to Playstation PSP, iPod, Playstation 3 or Xbox 360."
As of now the MovieSaver 2.0 is available in Internet for free-of-charge download. The program requires Windows 2000, XP or Vista and the .NET 2 Framework, which is installed automatically, in case it is not yet available on the computer.
