Sony begins shipping of Little Big Planet

Sony begins shipping of the revised version of its videogame 'Little Big Planet', the game that had been postponed after the complaint of an anonymous person, who criticized the inclusion of Quran content in a song.

The game was due to launch one week ago on Oct. 21 but being posponed after the 'discovery' of lyrics derived from the Quran. Potentially offensive, the game was revised by Sony and is now avaliable just a few days later. "Looks like our production line churned out new copies quicker than our original schedule, and a few of our retailers did what they could to take care of the fans who preordered ASAP," said a Sony spokesperson on Sony's PlayStation blog.

Sony's decision forced a lot of comments, some of them positive, but some negative as well. Most people don't understand, how the simple message of one anonymous person could force a big company to delay the selling of a product. In the end 'LBG' is one of the most innovative and awaited games yet produced for the PlayStation 3.
