MobileVideo 2.0: Engelmann Media offers the video converter for mobile movie entertainment!

Movies instead of photos: More and more users do not just want to view their videos on the PC but also when being on the way - on their mobile phone, on the navigation system, on mobile game consoles, smart phones or multimedia players like iPod Touch. MobileVideo 2.0 of Engelmann Media converts these videos - with just one mouse click. Format, resolution and file size are adjusted automatically.

More and more mobile devices are able to play videos. The real problem is that movies from the Internet, camcorder or a video-DVD cannot just be transferred to iPhone, iPod or a Sony PSP. Format, resolution and file size have to be converted.

The MobileVideo 2.0 program of Engelmann Media acts as intermediary between the digital worlds. The software converts the videos from one standard into the other. MobileVideo 2.0 accepts sources like video-DVDs or single DVD-chapters as well as video files in formats AVI, WMV, MP4, 3GP, VOB, MPG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2,), MPEG-4 (DivX 3.11 to 6, Xvid, Nero Digital etc.) and MJPEG.

In the clearly arranged program view the user selects the desired target device so that MobileVideo 2.0 knows how to convert and compress the files. MobileVideo 2.0 proposes a large number of mobile devices as target device, among them Android-based mobile phones and smart phones, various navigation systems, the iPhone, multimedia players like the iPod-family or various Archos-, Zune-, Cowon- and iRiver-players. Prepared profiles are used to determine the perfect resolution for the target device and the optimum picture quality, bit- and frame rates that are to be used for conversion.
